SIPS PROCESS
From Panels To Home
STEP 1 – A delivery of Formance SIPs arrives from the Christchurch factory.
STEP 2 – The panels arrive marked. Our experienced team interprets and sorts the marked panels.
STEP 3 – The panels are carefully transferred into our Pre-Assembly Plant.
STEP 4 – Panels are unloaded into specific groups ready for pre-assembly. Good preparation makes the process run a lot smoother.
STEP 5 – Our experienced teams preassemble the panels inside at our Pre-Assembly Plant. Teamwork is key
STEP 6 – The ability to pre-assemble indoors reduces weather delays and increases efficiency with its specific set up and a skilled building team.
STEP 7 – Accuracy is key to ensure the panels integrity is maintained and ensures a smooth install on site
STEP 8 – Each team member has a specific role in the process overseen by an experienced Foreman. Quality control is essential.
STEP 9 – All the tools and equipment play a role to increase the accuracy, efficiency & handling care of the panels
STEP 10 – Our team load the wall panels onto a truck in the order of install. Each panel is labelled appropriately.
STEP 11 – The pre-assembled panels are transported to site for install.
STEP 12 – The SIPs panels are lifted into place in order.
STEP 13 – The same team that preassembles the panels will install them. They have the intrinsic knowledge providing continuity.
STEP 14 – In less than 1 day the exterior walls of the home are in place. It’s not an accident. This is experience and accuracy at work.
STEP 15 – Quality control and accuracy are monitored throughout. Our teams know the importance.
STEP 16 – Once internal walls have been installed the roof panels are transported to site for install.
STEP 17 – Again, the same experienced team will complete the roof install.
STEP 18 – A bird’s eye view of the quick progress made. Panels are placed in a specific order to ensure a quality result and safe practice.
STEP 19 – Preparing the last roof panel for placement. It fits perfectly.
STEP 20 – In less than 1 day the roof is on. The Homeowners can now walk around their home & experience their living environment. It’s that quick!
